Dr. Heather Gaedt
Heather Gaedt, Psy.D. has extensive clinical experience with individuals ages 8-90, who are in a relationship, and/or struggle with trauma, an eating disorder, addiction, body image, a personality disorder and/or dissociation. Please see below for more of her specialties. In addition, she conducts an eclectic form of therapy and uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy when deemed appropriate.
Prior to her going into private practice, Dr. Gaedt worked as a Clinical Manager and therapist at Michael’s House Treatment Center in Palm Springs, CA. She has worked in EAP services, private psychiatric hospitals and addiction facilities, including: UCLA Staff and Faculty Counseling Center, Canyon Ridge Hospital, Betty Ford Center and BHC Alhambra Hospital.
She earned her Doctorate in Psychology after completing her innovative doctoral project on using dreams through a variety of therapeutic interventions. Dr. Gaedt was educated in Los Angeles at Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology, where she received specialized training in using psychotherapy with individuals, families, couples and children.
